Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves managing warehouse operations, handling materials, and delivering goods efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with warehouse management systems. A valid driving licence . Responsibilities • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse • Assist with picking and packing orders accurately for shipping and receiving • Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions • Support shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch of goods • Conduct routine mechanical checks on equipment and report any faults or issues • Assist in construction-related tasks as required for warehouse setup or maintenance • Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, safe, and organised at all times Experience • Proven experience in warehouse operations, including stocking, materials handling, and order fulfilment • Previous experience operating forklifts or similar lifting equipment is highly desirable • Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 or equivalent software • Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction environments is advantageous • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks • Experience in shipping & receiving processes, including load & unload procedures • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy • Valid driving licence suitable for operating delivery vehicles within the company’s fleet This role offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for individuals committed to safety, efficiency, and high standards of work.
