The Role: The Content Lead and Producer is responsible for how content is produced and distributed across owned sites and external platforms. This role oversees content and distribution strategy for all owned channels and leads editorial operations, ensuring high-quality, accurate and engaging content. As a Content Lead and Producer, you are expected to: Plan, lead and implement content production and distribution across all owned and paid channels Oversee and, where needed, directly produce social media and video content, ensuring formats and storytelling are adapted to each platform Ensure high editorial quality, accuracy, and tonal consistency Own and manage content calendars, publishing schedules and editorial workflows across written, social and video content Lead and manage writers, editors, freelancers and content creators Write, edit, and quality-assure content Create, implement and support PR initiatives in collaboration with local stakeholders Collaborate with SEO to ensure all content is optimized for SEO Manage budgets for content production Success in this role means: Continuous delivery of high-quality sports content across written, social, and video formats Accurate and timely coverage of relevant sports topics and events Strong performance and consistency across all content Improved SEO performance and increased search visibility Efficient workflows, strong cross-team collaboration and clear editorial processes Native-level Swedish, with the ability to write confidently, accurately and idiomatically in Swedish Proven experience producing and overseeing content for social media, ideally within sports Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail across multiple content formats Experience managing content calendars, workflows, and publishing schedules Experience leading and collaborating with writers, editors, freelancers, and content creators Ability to work closely with SEO and other cross-functional teams Nice to Have Experience supporting or leading PR initiatives Background in digital publishing, media, or sports media organizations
