We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding a Field Service Specialist (Valve) to their team. Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/hour, depending on experience. Work Location: Onsite – Bakersfield, CA 93308 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm | Overtime | 40-hours a week Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors. Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required. Responsibilities: • The Field Service Specialist will provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation. • Repair and maintenance of the Company's valves and actuation. • Trouble-shooting situations as required. • Willingness to promote the product and service line. • Ensure procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED. • 4 to 5 years related field experience. • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic internet usage. • Ability to obtain TWIC card. • Must have a clean driving record. • Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude/ability. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees. • Demonstrated ability to read and understand oral and written instructions. • Demonstrated ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications. • Ability to use hand and power tools. • Ability to work in confined spaces. • Ability to travel to remote locations. • Ability to work extended irregular work hours. • Good general attitude towards job duties. • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. • Ability to drive long distances and follow rigorous safety.
