Senior Communication Advisor to the (Office of the) CEO Overview Join Rainforest Alliance in amplifying leadership for impact. Our CEO and Executive Leadership Team are critical assets to advance our mission: transforming global supply chains, protecting forests, and improving the lives of millions of farmers and workers. We are seeking a Senior Communication Advisor to the (Office of the) CEO to ensure our leadership presence, voice and engagement is strategic, impactful, and connected, both externally and internally. This role is about opening doors, crafting narratives, and making every engagement matter: from government leaders and corporates to global platforms and donors. What Youll Do • Design and lead Rainforest Alliances Priority Events Calendar , aligning CEO/ELT presence with mission-critical opportunities. • Identify and secure strategic external engagements at senior levels: from fundraising to government affairs, in partnership with various internal relationship owners (Development team, Corporate Engagements & Partnerships team, etc.). • Craft compelling briefs, talking points, and narratives ensuring consistency, authenticity, and alignment with our 2030 strategy. • Partner with internal teams to develop communication rhythm for the CEO and ELT connecting leadership priorities with the organization through updates, all-hands messages, and internal storytelling moments. • Partner with Corporate Communications, People Strategy & Culture to align messaging across internal and external channels. • Focus on orchestration, not logistics ensuring events are completed by accountable teams while you are accountable for the strategic deployment process. What You Bring • Strong background in strategic communications, public affairs/relations, corporate relations, external engagement within complex, global context. • Proven success influencing at senior levels and creating opportunities that drive outcomes. • Exceptional writing and communication skills; ability to distill complexity and shape powerful, concise narratives. • Deep understanding of both external engagement and internal communication dynamics. • A collaborative mindset, strong emotional intelligence, and cultural sensitivity. • Political and organizational acumen; ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes. • A proactive, results-oriented approach and a global outlook. • Deep commitment to Rainforest Alliances mission.
