The Role As Rad AI’s first Market Development Representative, you’ll help build and shape a new function from the ground up. Reporting into the Director of Demand Generation, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound leads and the engine behind our outbound pipeline generation efforts—partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, and RevOps to accelerate growth across the U.S. radiology market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early build stages, loves refining processes, and wants to own a high-impact area in a leadership role. The role will initially be instrumental in hiring and onboarding two MDRs, likely expanding to a larger team dependent on the performance of the initial MDR team. What You’ll Do Manage and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website forms, and events Conduct personalized outreach to prospective accounts through email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate new meetings Research target accounts (radiology practices, health systems, and AI-in-medicine stakeholders) to personalize outreach based on persona, segment, and use case Master the Rad AI story and clearly articulate our value to clinical, technical, and executive buyers Partner with Account Executives to build qualified pipeline and handoff meetings aligned to SLAs Document prospecting activity and lead status accurately in HubSpot and Salesforce Test and optimize new messaging, sequences, and channels in collaboration with Marketing Help formalize Rad AI’s MDR playbook: lead routing, status definitions, cadence templates, and metrics dashboards Provide feedback loops on messaging, ICP fit, and lead quality to refine our go-to-market motion Build the infrastructure to support hiring additional MDR’s, and lead team What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of experience in a Sales, Sales Development or Business Development role (preferably B2B SaaS) Experience engaging senior stakeholders in complex or technical sales environments Familiarity with healthcare industry (radiology added bonus) Excellent communication skills — clear, confident, and curious in email and live conversation Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo/Outreach, Salesforce etc.) Tenacious self-starter who takes ownership, follows through, and thrives on turning challenges into wins Motivated by challenge, not discouraged by rejection — you see objections as opportunities to learn A builder’s mindset: organized, process-oriented, and energized by creating structure where none exists Adaptability and resilience in a fast-moving startup environment Passion for mission-driven technology that improves healthcare outcomes Join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that empower physicians and transform patient care—making a meaningful impact on millions of lives.
