Full Description

Job Description: • Design, build, and maintain enterprise SQL Server database environments • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database code • Monitor and tune database performance (indexing, resource management, execution plans) • Configure and maintain high-availability solutions (clustering, replication, Always On Availability Groups) • Implement and validate backup and disaster recovery strategies • Enforce database security controls including encryption, access management, and hardening • Support RMF-aligned security requirements and audit readiness • Partner with data engineers and integration developers to support ETL/ELT workflows • Ensure database schemas align with incoming data feeds and integration interfaces • Maintain documentation aligned with compliance standards Requirements: • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in enterprise environments • Experience with clustering, replication, and Always On architectures • Deep understanding of performance monitoring and tuning tools • Experience designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies • Familiarity with RMF and federal security compliance standards • Experience supporting data integration and ETL processes • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Ability to operate independently in a remote, high-accountability environment Benefits: • Weekly pay with full remote flexibility • Professional growth investment, including paid certifications and training • Comprehensive benefits package, including: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401(k) with 100% company match up to 6% • Paid time off (PTO) • Life and disability insurance • Home office equipment plan • A supportive, inclusive team culture focused on collaboration, trust, and mission impact
