Overview Reser’s Fine Foods is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to oversee and optimize their nationwide network of production facilities. In this high-impact role, you’ll provide strategic leadership to General Managers and plant teams across multiple locations—championing safety, quality, efficiency, and operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ready to drive performance and shape the future of a growing organization? Reser’s Fine Foods is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to oversee and optimize their nationwide network of production facilities. In this high-impact role, you’ll provide strategic leadership to General Managers and plant teams across multiple locations—championing safety, quality, efficiency, and operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Performance: Lead day-to-day operations across 4-5 food manufacturing sites, ensuring KPIs for safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and team engagement. Oversight: Provide oversight for Production, Maintenance, Scheduling, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Inventory Control across the network. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Safety, Quality Assurance, and HR to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance. Strategic Direction & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with the VP of Operations to develop and execute long-term strategic initiatives and process improvements that align with company goals. Analyze financial data, evaluate cost-benefit scenarios, and lead cost-reduction strategies to drive profitability and efficiency. Lead plant expansions, renovations, and capital projects with a focus on sustainable growth. Coach, develop, and mentor plant General Managers and leadership teams to build high-performing, collaborative operations. Establish clear goals and performance metrics, offering feedback and accountability to drive results. Identify training needs and support succession planning within operational teams. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Food Science, or related field is required; Master’s degree is a plus. 10-15 years of experience in food manufacturing operations, with 5+ years of multi-site leadership responsibility—preferably in refrigerated, baked goods, meat, or frozen product categories. Experience managing complex production environments with a strong emphasis on employee safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive culture, and implement lean principles across diverse plant operations. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
