Full Description

Essential Responsibilities •May lead teams indirectly through managing one or more Managers of Software Engineering. •Mentor and grow leadership within your teams (technical leads, managers, and potentially other senior managers). •Provide technical leadership in the evaluation, conceptualization, design, and development of major new capabilities, innovations, and longer-term strategies across multiple teams or departments. •Provide strong technical expertise in application architecture across multiple teams or departments. •Oversee the quality of the code and products throughout the entire development lifecycle. •Drive for continuous improvement in performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, usability, and availability of the platform. •Leverage agile methodology concepts for quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. •Partner with business stakeholders, product managers, and other engineering leadership to create and maintain a digital roadmap for application(s) managed by his/her team(s) and across other teams or departments. •Coach, develop, and encourage career development for engineering managers and staff. •Coordinates and delivers performance reviews. •Identifies opportunities for and implements new or improved policies and procedures across teams and departments. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
