About the Role As a Contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter at Qventus, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top-tier talent in artificial intelligence, data science, and engineering. You’ll source, engage, and manage candidates across roles such as AI engineers, ML researchers, data scientists, DevOps specialists for AI, and full-stack developers deploying AI systems. You’ll work directly with technical leaders to translate nuanced role requirements into clear candidate profiles, assess for both technical depth and cultural alignment, and guide candidates through the full lifecycle from first conversation to signed offer. Your success will depend on creativity, persistence, and the ability to “speak the language” of engineers, researchers, and architects, whether discussing generative AI models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multimodal systems, or AI orchestration frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop targeted sourcing strategies for niche technical talent, including AI engineers, ML researchers, data scientists, and infrastructure specialists. Source, engage, and assess candidates using a combination of Boolean, X-ray, graph search, and market mapping. Qualify candidates for technical expertise in areas such as LLM development, vector databases, LangChain, LlamaIndex, multimodal AI, and AI agent frameworks. Manage the full recruiting process: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback loops, and offer negotiation. Track pipeline health and recruitment metrics, using data to inform strategy and improve performance. Stay current on AI industry trends, emerging frameworks, and shifts in market talent availability. What We’re Looking For 8+ years of experience as a technical recruiter or talent sourcer, with significant focus on AI, ML, or deep-tech hiring. Strong understanding of AI concepts, including LLM development, agent-based systems, AI orchestration, embeddings, and multimodal models. Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and vector databases. Demonstrated success building pipelines for hard-to-find engineering and AI talent. Exceptional candidate engagement skills, with the ability to discuss AI research, engineering workflows, and deployment contexts credibly. Proficiency with ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter. Data-driven approach to tracking and improving recruiting performance. Contract Details This is a contract position, paid hourly. Opportunity to work with a fast-moving team at the forefront of AI in healthcare. Compensation for this role is based on market data and takes into account a variety of factors, including location, skills, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
