What You’ll Be Doing As an IT Specialist at Quindar, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, maintaining, and improving the company’s cloud and on-premise IT infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and operational excellence of our systems in support of critical missions. Your work will include provisioning and supporting user systems, deploying new services, maintaining network connections, monitoring system health, and driving automation of routine IT tasks. You will work closely with engineering teams to support integration and troubleshooting of enterprise applications and mission-critical systems. Incident management, root cause analysis, and technical support for hardware and software issues will be a key part of your responsibilities. Strong attention to compliance, security best practices, and documentation is essential. In addition, you’ll help define IT best practices as the company grows, contributing to process improvements and setting standards for service availability and efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 3+ years of professional IT experience (IT support, systems administration, or network engineering) Active US Security Clearance (Secret Required, TS/SCI Preferred) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and virtualized infrastructure Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems Experience with identity and access management (Active Directory, Azure AD, IAM solutions) Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar a plus) Working knowledge of networking (VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS) Understanding of endpoint security, patch management, and data protection principles Experience supporting remote and hybrid teams Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills ITAR REQUIREMENTS To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
