Quills Corporate Consulting Inc. is seeking an Assistant Business Operations Manager to support our growing consulting practice and ensure the smooth delivery of projects for our clients. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Operations Manager to coordinate day-to-day activities, improve internal processes, and help our consultants stay organized and focused on delivering value. You’ll have a hand in everything from scheduling and reporting to client communication and project support, making this a great opportunity to learn the consulting business from the inside out. Key Responsibilities • Assist in managing day-to-day operations across consulting projects. • Support resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow optimization. • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely deliverables. • Track KPIs, prepare reports, and monitor project performance. • Maintain operational policies and ensure compliance with company standards. • Help implement process improvements and digital tools for productivity. • Support on boarding and training of new hires. • Act as a liaison between management and staff to address operational needs. • Handle documentation, proposals, and reporting for ongoing consulting engagements. • Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field. • 1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or business consulting. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar). • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills. • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Skills • Prior experience in a consulting or professional services firm. • Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, or KPIs. • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). • Remote collaboration experience (Slack, Teams, Zoom).
