Title: Account Manager – Strategic Accounts (Salesforce & Data Services)Location: US - Remote Bay-area applicants highly preferred Looking for a step up in your career? Our client helps customers automate key business processes using CRM and ERP and make informed decisions by unifying Data across the enterprise systems. Currently seeking a seasoned Account Manager to own and grow strategic client relationships with a few key accounts. This role combines both farmer responsibilities (nurturing and expanding within existing accounts) and hunter responsibilities (identifying and pursuing new opportunities across business units and stakeholders). Roles and Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of enterprise accounts. • Act as both a farmer (expanding current engagements) and a hunter (identifying and driving new opportunities). • Develop and execute account growth strategies to expand our Salesforce, Databricks, Snowflake, and data engineering services footprint. • Build trusted, senior-level relationships across multiple client business units and stakeholders. • Proactively uncover client business challenges and position our services as solutions. • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful execution and long-term satisfaction. • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding into adjacent service areas. • Lead the preparation and delivery of executive-level account reviews and growth plans. • Monitor account health, pipeline, client satisfaction, and overall profitability. • Partner with leadership on strategic pursuits, contract renewals, and deal structurings. Key Skills Required: • Deep understanding of Salesforce solutions and related services. • Knowledge of modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and data engineering (preferred). • Proven ability to farm existing accounts while also hunting for new business within them. • Strong client relationship management skills with a record of executive-level engagement. • Business development acumen with the ability to identify, shape, and close opportunities. • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute multi-year account growth plans. • Ability to work effectively across time zones and coordinate with delivery teams in India. Qualifications: • Experience: 10–15 years of IT services experience, with proven success in account management and business development. Minimum 5 years of Salesforce-related services experience (implementations, consulting, or account growth). Experience with data services (Databricks, Snowflake, data engineering) is a strong plus. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred). • Track record of managing and growing large enterprise accounts, with measurable revenue growth.
