Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Chief of Product to lead and scale our product organization. This executive will be responsible for setting the strategic product direction, delivering world-class solutions to our customers, and driving business impact across key lines of the organization. The Chief of Product will work cross-functionally with leaders in marketing, engineering, operations, and data to align our roadmap with the company’s broader goals. As a member of the executive leadership team, the Chief of Product will play a key role in shaping the future of Quility’s platform, driving product-market fit, and ensuring alignment with our long-term strategic goals in both digital transformation and insurance innovation. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, manage, and hold accountable a diverse team of VPs, Directors, and Specialists across Product, Program Management, and Scrum teams, ensuring strong performance, alignment, and development. • Cultivate customer centricity as a guiding principle in developing the strategic product vision, roadmap, and prioritization. • Drive the creation of product strategy — not just execute existing plans — by identifying market opportunities, competitive positioning, and whitespace that align with Quility’s long-term goals. • Through deep customer research, identify the right problems and ground the product strategy in user insights. • Ensure high-quality execution of key product initiatives across the organization — driving clarity, focus, and cross-functional collaboration. • Partner with internal stakeholders across Technology, Strategy, Marketing, and Sales, as well as external stakeholders (e.g., carriers, vendors, reinsurers) to define, build, and optimize the customer experience. • Act as a strategic thought partner to the President and executive team, supporting enterprise-level initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and product innovation strategy. • Build a strong product operations foundation — including governance, metrics, experimentation systems, and customer feedback loops within an agile product delivery framework. • Knowledgeable in product ownership and experience coaching others to become skilled product owners. Qualifications: • 10+ years of progressive experience in product leadership, with at least 5 years at the executive level (VP/SVP/Chief), ideally in insurance, InsurTech, or adjacent industries. • Deep experience in identifying the true issues and opportunities and keeping the customer/agent central to product design and prioritization • Proven success in building and scaling cross-functional product teams in agile environments. • Demonstrated ability to create and drive product strategy, not just execute pre-defined plans — including market discovery, whitespace identification, and long-range product visioning. • Ability to manage through complexity — influencing stakeholders across departments while balancing business needs, timelines, and technical considerations. • Experience in managing large portfolios of products and/or programs with high organizational impact. • Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization. • Well-versed in the strategic application of AI, with a clear understanding of how emerging technologies can drive product innovation, enhance customer experiences, and create business value. • PMP, CSM, or other Agile/PM certifications are a plus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
