【Position】 Sales Engineer (This is a draft and subject to change) 【Summary】 We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join our Michigan office. This role will work closely with the expat engineer from our Japan headquarters to establish and manage local production, while supporting client needs and providing technical solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, CAD design, and a strong understanding of engineering processes. 【Essential Duties】 ・Collaborate with the expat engineer to establish and manage local production. ・Support client requirements, including technical consultations and parts design. ・Conduct 3D CAD design and participate in the manufacturing process. ・Work alongside sales leadership to provide technical input for business development. ・Maintain and optimize production workflows, ensuring quality and efficiency. ・Travel domestically (US, Canada, Mexico) as needed. 【Qualifications】 ・3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles ・Experience in welding, parts manufacturing, or CAD design preferred ・Engineering degree is a plus, but not required ・Ability to work collaboratively with an expat engineer and sales team ・Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a small team environment ・Japanese language skills not required, English proficiency essential
