Description Overview of the Role As a remote Outbound Sales Specialist in our call center, you will be the first point of contact for prospective patients interested in CGM devices. Your role is to provide exceptional service, educate patients, verify insurance, and guide them through the enrollment process. This is a fast-paced, phone-based role ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Call Handling: Manage 400+ inbound and outbound calls daily, engaging with warm leads and prospective patients. Customer Service: Deliver empathetic, patient-focused support over the phone, demonstrating active listening and professionalism. Sales & Enrollment: Convert leads enrolled patients by clearly explaining product benefits and closing sales in compliance with HIPAA and Medicare guidelines. Insurance Verification: Obtain and verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate patient responsibilities. Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of CGM products and educate patients on their features and benefits. CRM Documentation: Accurately record all patient interactions and transactions in the CRM and intake systems. Post-Enrollment Support: Provide follow-up assistance and ensure patients understand the next steps. Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless patient experience. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, insurance policies, and product updates. Privacy regulations: adhere to and comply with all HIPAA guidelines and always maintain confidentiality of patient information. Other duties as assigned. Requirements What You’ll Bring Proven experience in a high-volume call center or phone-based customer service/sales role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and customer-first mindset. Familiarity with healthcare, medical equipment, or insurance processes is a plus. Proficiency in CRM and insurance verification tools. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent required.
