As a Laboratory Director, you will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining quality assurance practices. You will guide the laboratory team in implementing processes, interpreting diagnostic results, and addressing clinical inquiries from physicians. Additionally, you will manage laboratory budgets, develop strategies for operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation in diagnostic services. Qualifications • Expertise in laboratory diagnostics, clinical laboratory testing, and quality assurance practices • Proficiency in regulatory compliance standards, including CLIA, CAP accreditation, and other applicable guidelines • Strong leadership and management skills to oversee laboratory staff, budgets, and daily operations • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with team members and address clinical inquiries from healthcare professionals • Doctoral degree (M.D. or Ph.D.) in a related field and board certification in Clinical Pathology or relevant specialization • Experience in healthcare, diagnostic laboratories, or a similar setting is highly desirable • Proficiency in laboratory information systems and familiarity with state-of-the-art technology in diagnostic testing
