Role Overview: As a Patient Service Representative at Quantum-Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Your role is vital in managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to support our healthcare operations. What You'll Do: - You will greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. - You will manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently. - You will handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with accuracy and empathy. - You will maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy in our systems. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. - You will resolve patient concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary. - You will support billing and insurance verification processes. - You will contribute to a positive team environment and continuous process improvement. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare or customer service role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. - Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
