Role Overview: As a Patient Service Representative at Quantum-Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Your role is vital in managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and providing essential information to support patient care. What You'll Do: - You will greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. - You will manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations. - You will handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person with accuracy and empathy. - You will maintain patient records and ensure data accuracy. - You will coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow. - You will process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently. - You will assist with billing and insurance verification processes. - You will support the team in maintaining a clean and organized reception area. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a healthcare or customer service role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - High school diploma or equivalent required. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with medical billing and insurance verification. - Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient privacy laws. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience in a fast-paced medical office environment.
