Your role is vital in managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to support our healthcare operations. What You'll Do: - You will greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. - You will manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups efficiently. - You will handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with accuracy and empathy. - You will verify patient information and insurance details to facilitate smooth processing. - You will maintain accurate patient records and update databases regularly. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to coordinate patient care. - You will resolve patient concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary. - You will support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare or customer service role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling software. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. - Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
