What You'll Do: - You will greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. - You will manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations. - You will handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. - You will verify patient information and insurance details accurately. - You will maintain patient records and update databases as needed. - You will collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate patient care. - You will resolve patient concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary. - You will adhere to privacy regulations and company policies at all times. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare or customer service role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare certifications a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting. - Knowledge of medical terminology. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
