The Order Management Specialist plays a vital role in supporting operational excellence by managing order workflows and ensuring clear and proactive communication across teams. This position focuses on delivering accurate and timely service, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers. The ideal candidate will have the energy and drive to get both department and you to the next level! Top Outcomes that You are Responsible For: • Customers understand the status of their orders • Customers realize that we are “easy to Work With” • Shipment discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner • Order entry processes are monitored and continuously improved • Customers and internal stakeholders receive professional and timely support Key Tasks and Responsibilities Order Entry and Management • Enter all customer orders accurately and efficiently • Communicate with customers on order clarification and confirmation • Coordinate order revisions to ensure all internal parties are up-to-date on customer expectations • Build rapport with repeat customers through positive, timely, consistent and reliable service and communication. • Build up relationship with customers to assist sales with account growth. Delivery Coordination • Communicate ETAs and delivery updates to customers and internal teams • Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely order fulfillment • Monitor and report over/under shipments • Send customer invoices and follow-up as needed Other Key Duties • Collaborate with production teams to reconcile finished goods inventory issues • Provide customer support via phone and email regarding order status and issues. • Recommend improvements to streamline workflows and reduce errors • Create documentation and training for order entry procedures Required Qualifications • Manufacturing background required – previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential • Scheduling and planning experience required – demonstrated ability to coordinate production schedules and manage workflow priorities • ERP system experience required – proficiency in working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems for order management, inventory tracking, and production coordination • Strong Attention to detail Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Visual ERP software Compensation and Benefits • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off
