ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring a Forklift Operator to support our Conyers facility's production and warehouse operations. This role operates a stand-up forklift and is responsible for material movement, inventory control, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. If you're safety-minded, organized, and experienced in forklift operations, we want to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Forklift Operation & Yard Support • Operate stand-up (and sit-down) lift trucks to move products, ingredients, and supplies • Read batch pick sheets and bills of lading to fulfill production and shipping needs • Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars • Connect/disconnect railcars and tankers to flow panels as needed • Support recycling, waste, and sustainability efforts in the yard Inventory & Compliance • Maintain proper stock rotation and inventory documentation (FIFO) • Clean up spills and maintain a safe, organized yard area • Document daily tasks and activities per supervisor's instructions • Follow lockout/tagout and environmental safety procedures PAY & BENEFITS • * Benefits Include: • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and holiday pay • Safety gear and uniforms provided • On-the-job training and advancement opportunities WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Stand-up and/or sit-down forklift experience required (certification preferred) • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and work outdoors in variable conditions • Ability to read and understand shipping paperwork and safety instructions • Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency WHAT YOU'LL GET • People First: At GSF, we're not just a company; we're a dynamic community where your talents are celebrated, and your ambitions are nurtured. • Values Driven: Our core values drive everything we do, creating a culture of innovation, integrity, and excellence.
