Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Qualitest is a leading AI-powered Quality Engineering Company seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join their growing team. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through thorough testing and analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing automated tests. Responsibilities • Perform Manual & Automation & Develop Automated Test of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement • Develop and execute test scripts based on project User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and specifications • Identify and document software defects and retest defects once fixed • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution • Utilize SQL to query databases and validate test cases during testing • Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality • Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports • Ramp up on business application knowledge quickly • Provide input into the design and improvement of testing processes and methodologies • Identify and test edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and uncover potential issues that may not be captured by the acceptance criteria alone • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to gain clarity on User Stories and gather additional information to enhance the testing process • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather feedback on test cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog refinement, to contribute to the refinement and improvement of User Stories • Ability to locate the test data, create new or modify existing data • Perform back end data driven testing Skills • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Automation Tester or in a similar role • Strong Playwright experience • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail • Hands-on contributor Benefits • 401k plan where Qualitest will match your contributions accelerating your savings plan. • Enrollment into one of our competitive healthcare benefits. • Qualitest will match towards your HSA if you choose to participate. • QCraft – our Learning & Development platform: 50,000+ courses, 300+ virtual labs, mentorship and leadership programs, professional tribes, sponsored certifications, and much more. • Corporate Wellness Program.
