About the position Responsibilities • Build and execute business development strategies for AI-first devices such as smart earbuds, pins, glasses, and other emerging edge-AI companions. • Drive strategic relationships with AI startups, OEMs, ODMs, and ecosystem partners focused on innovative form factors and user experiences. • Lead cross-functional engagements with engineering, product, supply chain, and executive leadership to secure design wins and accelerate commercialization. • Position Qualcomm's technical leadership in low-power AI inference, sensor fusion, connectivity, and software tools to meet customer needs. • Shape early-stage customer engagements through ideation sessions, technical deep dives, and rapid prototyping initiatives. • Provide feedback to internal teams based on market signals, customer input, and trends in AI startup ecosystems. • Track industry activity across wearables, hearables, and AI-first form factors to identify whitespace opportunities and new categories. • Manage pricing discussions, forecasting, and commercial negotiations with both startups and large device makers. • Represent Qualcomm at key industry events, partner summits, and customer meetings to promote our vision for intelligent edge devices. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or technical sales in semiconductors, consumer devices, or AI-related products. • Experience working with/at or for AI startups developing next-gen hardware or intelligent companion products. • Strong understanding of AI inference at the edge and embedded hardware/connectivity, and wireless connectivity technologies. • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
