Full Description

About the Role We are Quadro Consulting, a German-founded technology consultancy working with a rapidly scaling North American product company with millions of global users. We are looking for a senior Technical System Analyst/Product Manager with strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills - someone who can connect business goals with technical execution across complex digital products. As a Technical System Analyst/Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, validating, and ensuring the successful delivery of system behavior across web and mobile applications. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and other business units to make sure that requirements are clear, feasible, aligned with business goals, and translated into scalable system logic. Your work will directly influence how features are shaped, implemented, tested, deployed, and continuously improved. This is a part-time, long-term engagement (20 hours per week) ideal for a senior analyst looking for stability while keeping flexibility. What You’ll Be Doing: • Gather and analyze requirements from Product and stakeholders with a strong focus on technical implications, constraints, and system impact. • Convert business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, system rules, use cases, data flows, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria. • Break down complex workflows and identify dependencies between teams, services, and components. • Analyze current system architecture, APIs, integrations, and external documentation to ensure feasibility and completeness. • Participate in root-cause analysis of bugs and issues to support development and QA teams. • Maintain structured and up-to-date system documentation for web and mobile flows. • Refine backlog items together with Product and Engineering to ensure scope is estimable, clear, and technically sound. • Facilitate cross-functional alignment through workshops, grooming sessions, live/async estimations, and feature demos. • Support QA teams in understanding business logic and defining relevant test cases. • Perform desk checks with developers to validate system behavior before QA and production releases. • Participate in production acceptance testing and ensure technical accuracy of final deliverables. • Provide ongoing knowledge transfer to CS, Product, and other squads on system changes. • Proactively propose improvements to workflows, functional consistency, and overall system clarity. • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the client's product and all relevant systems. What We’re Looking For: • 4–6+ years of experience as a Technical/System Analyst, Product Manager, Business Analyst with technical focus, or similar role in software development. • Deep understanding of how web and mobile applications function: workflows, integrations, architecture basics, dependencies, and constraints. • Strong ability to break down business requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications. • Experience with user stories, use cases, BPMN-style diagrams, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. • Proven ability to collaborate with developers and QAs on clarifying logic, identifying gaps, and validating system behavior. • Familiarity with APIs, integration points, data flow concepts, and system interoperability. • Experience working with multi-team product environments (Product, Engineering, QA, CS, etc.). • Excellent communication, structured thinking, and documentation skills. • Comfort presenting features, requirements, and logic to both technical and non-technical audiences. Nice to Have: • Experience working with microservices or modular system architecture. • Understanding of event-driven patterns or asynchronous systems. • Ability to read payloads, logs, or basic API documentation. • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Swagger/Postman. • Exposure to analytics or telemetry (GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel). • Product discovery or UX familiarity from a system perspective. Why You’ll Love Working On This Project This role gives you the opportunity to be the functional owner of system clarity — the person who ensures that every feature, change, and integration is properly understood, documented, and delivered. • Work on a complex, user-facing product with real-world impact across web and mobile. • Collaborate closely with skilled developers, QAs, and product managers in a healthy, well-organized agile setup. • Ensure that system behavior is correct, consistent, scalable, and aligned with business goals. • Take ownership of functional direction and influence how requirements become reality. • Be part of a mature organization that values structure, clarity, and quality. • Work in a team that appreciates problem solvers, clear thinkers, and proactive improvers. What We Offer: • Long-term, stable part-time collaboration. • Fully remote work. • Provided equipment. • Supportive, international technical team. • Discounts with our numerous partners. If this sounds like the right next step for your career, apply now — we’re happy to share more about the project, the team, and what your first months will look like. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. All applications are handled in accordance with GDPR.
