IT Security Project Manager – Remote (U.S. Only) Contract: 6 months (with potential for 12–18 month extension or full-time conversion)Pay: $60–$67/hr What’s in It for You? Job Details Contract Type: 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion Work Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility to accommodate client needs Location: Remote (U.S. only) Benefits: Optional health benefits available through staffing partner Other: High visibility project reporting to SVP and CEO-level stakeholders Key Responsibilities Lead a compliance-driven IT security project focused on credit card processing and audit documentation. Coordinate with internal teams (IT, InfoSec, Compliance) and external client stakeholders to gather, track, and validate deliverables. Facilitate formal documentation and client acknowledgment of audit materials. Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with diplomacy and professionalism. Ensure project alignment, avoid duplication, and deliver cohesive results across teams. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of project management experience in IT or financial services. Strong background in InfoSec, risk, and compliance related to credit card processing. Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with executive-level stakeholders. Experience managing large-scale technology projects (software/hardware). Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, and standard office tools. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain composed and focused in high-pressure situations. Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP certification a plus.
