This role oversees schedule, cost performance, field coordination, and overall project delivery while ensuring work meets established safety, quality, and compliance standards. The Senior Project Manager will lead and support project managers and project assistants, interface directly with clients and subcontractors, and maintain accountability for project execution and financial outcomes. Pay Range $135k-$155k per year Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards, and communicate them clearly to project and field teams. • Oversee day‑to‑day project administration or manage multiple Project Managers and their respective workloads. • Train, mentor, and supervise project management staff in required processes, documentation, and company/system protocols. • Review, negotiate, and manage project change orders. • Maintain project logs, tracking documents, reports, and all required project controls. • Supervise and support Project Assistants in maintaining documentation and tracking tools. • Serve as primary liaison with clients, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure coordinated project activities. • Work with onsite supervisors and field leadership to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. • Identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions as needed. • Represent the project at meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. • Prepare and manage monthly cost reports, forecasts, and financial updates. • Oversee financial aspects of the project including billings, cost tracking, equipment rentals, and overall job profitability. • Perform other duties as required based on project and operational needs. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, ideally within commercial, industrial, or large‑scale construction environments. • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, safety regulations, and project coordination. • PE license is a plus. • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered. Competencies • Demonstrated success leading and developing project teams. • Strong client‑facing communication and relationship‑building skills. • Ability to follow established procedures, maintain compliance, and work within process‑driven environments. • Solid knowledge of safety requirements and construction site protocols. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience with project or financial management software preferred. • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Self‑driven, organized, and capable of working both independently and in team environments. • Professional interaction with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and all levels of internal staff. Travel • Up to 25% based on project and site activity. Working Conditions • Work may occur in an office environment or active construction sites. • Office work may involve extended periods of sitting, computer use, and typical administrative tasks. • Jobsite environments may involve exposure to noise, equipment, varying temperatures, and construction activities. • Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs may be required. • Appropriate PPE is required for site visits.
