Position Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer Location: Remote (U.S.-based only) Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Active Secret preferred, Interim acceptable Position Status: Contract Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Position Description: We are seeking three (3) highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developers to support a mission-critical federal program. This is a fully remote opportunity requiring U.S. Citizenship and an Interim or Active Secret Clearance. The ideal candidates will bring deep SAP ECC development experience, strong Object-Oriented ABAP expertise, and the ability to work closely with both technical and functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable SAP enterprise application solutions • Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants to analyze technical alternatives and propose effective solutions • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP applications, reports, enhancements, and interfaces • Lead preparation of programming specifications, logic flow diagrams, and technical documentation • Deliver full-stack SAP application solutions using SAPUI5 for front-end development and ABAP Objects for backend business logic • Create and expose OData services to integrate SAP UI5 applications with backend systems • Leverage JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to customize and enhance SAP Fiori applications • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior ABAP developers • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration across IT and client teams Required Skills & Experience: • 7+ years of hands-on SAP ECC development experience • Expert-level proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP UI5 development • Strong working knowledge of OData Services, SAP Gateway, and Fiori app development • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for SAP UI customization • Prior experience supporting federal projects or government clients • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills • Ability to translate functional requirements into high-quality technical solutions Preferred Qualifications: • Active Secret Clearance • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., ABAP Developer, SAP Fiori Application Developer) • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and team/staffing oversight About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm-we're a trusted career partner.
