Position Title: Scrum Master II Location: Remote (Local to Richmond, VA / Kansas City, MO / Dallas, TX) Clearance Requirements: None Position Status: Contract Pay Rate: $40 - $50 per hour Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master II to support high-visibility Agile initiatives within a leading national financial technology environment. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented engineering, product, and business teams, helping drive large-scale digital transformation and continuous improvement efforts. As a key Agile leader, you will guide teams in applying Agile methodologies, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of collaboration and delivery excellence. This position is ideal for a proactive, communication-driven professional who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and is passionate about empowering teams to deliver high-quality products. Required Skills/Education: • 4-6+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. • Hands-on experience leading Agile Scrum teams in enterprise environments. • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and Agile best practices. • Experience applying Agile frameworks in organizations using Scaled Agile (SAFe) or similar models. • Ability to coach and mentor cross-functional teams to improve Agile maturity and achieve sprint/release goals. • Experience working in diverse environments with projects of varying complexity. • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, VersionOne, Azure DevOps/TFS, AgileCraft, or similar. • Understanding of TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and iterative development processes. • Preferred: Agile certifications such as CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC, or equivalent. • Preferred: Background in Product Development or large-scale technical programs. • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, facilitate, and drive outcomes across teams. • Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance standards required for financial and technology-focused roles.
