Position Title: Program Project Specialist Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - Onsite full-time for the first month of training, then 2-3 days per week in office) Clearance Requirements: None Position Status: Contract (6+ months, potential for extension) Pay Rate: $24 on W2 Per hour Position Description: We're seeking a Program Project Specialist to support a government initiative based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role plays a key part in managing and maintaining mineral-related applications, leases, and production data. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with state land policies and procedures. You'll assist with reviewing mineral applications, processing documentation, maintaining databases, preparing reports, and supporting billing and compliance reviews. This position requires a balance of data management, communication, and teamwork to ensure the accuracy and integrity of program operations. Responsibilities: • Review, analyze, and maintain mineral data, spreadsheets, and reports. • Process leases, production reports, and applications in compliance with established policies. • Review and validate monthly billing to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Support internal and external communications through correspondence, email, and phone interactions. • Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance purposes. • Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous process improvements. • Conduct occasional field work as required. Required Skills & Education: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access). • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. • Experience reviewing, maintaining, and managing databases or data-driven reports. • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
