About the role The Assistant Coordinator provides on-site support during weekends and occasional one-off requests. This role acts as the first point of contact for urgent program or facility issues, maintains visibility across the building, and ensures communication gaps are bridged with the central Facilities/Operations team. What you'll do Program Support (Primary Priority) Provide onsite support during scheduled weekend programs and one-off requests ● Serve as Facilities liaison while onsite Respond to immediate program needs, ensuring a smooth guest and staff experience Facility Monitoring & Oversight Conduct walkthroughs of the building interior and exterior to identify any unusual activity or potential issues Submit facility tickets for repairs, IT issues, or building access needs using the ticketing system Escalate and assist with urgent facility needs that may arise Troubleshooting & Escalation Flag issues that require attention and communicate them promptly to the Facilities team Coordinate cleanup, setup, set-down, and moving items as needed Assist with building upkeep, including helping move furniture and supporting basic facility adjustments when required Assist with AV/Tech troubleshooting May include heavy lifting at times (chairs, tables, equipment, etc.).
