The Job At-A-Glance: Q2 is seeking a Senior Project Manager responsible for the successful configuration and deployment of Q2’s Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions. This position is a hybrid project management and technical implementation role that involves application troubleshooting and support. This Senior Project Manager will work with our largest/most complex customers through the implementation of the products and serve as the primary contact with the customer during the project – confident executive presence is a must. This individual must be exceptionally detail-oriented and an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting. A Typical Day: Partner with customers to understand business requirements and expectations Design and execute project plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions Direct project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner Work closely with the customer and team to problem solve issues that arise Track status and provide updates in relation to the overall implementation process in a manner befitting our largest/most complex customers Train and educate customers on the product and configuration options Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience. Experience managing large and complex customer relationships, corresponding with executive-level customer contacts Project Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI) Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologies Ability to organize and execute multi-facet software deployments Experience building documentation and project plans using Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint Capable of assessing project risks and mitigations Ability to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resources Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Financial Services and enterprise software experience preferred This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
