Sales Engineer & Key Account Manager (Puerto Rico – Remote) Location: Remote – Puerto RicoEmployment Type: Full-time About Pytes Since 2004, Pytes has been dedicated to providing efficient and cost-effective energy storage solutions tailored to diverse commercial and industrial needs. With nationwide logistics centers and service coverage, we support customers in reducing peak electricity costs, improving reliability, and enhancing energy independence. Our customers include installers, EPCs, and commercial clients across retail, healthcare, hospitality, warehouses, and other commercial sectors, many of whom require strong technical support and long-term partnership rather than transactional sales. Regional Sales Manager Role Overview The Sales Engineer & Key Account Manager role is primarily focused on maintaining and supporting existing customers in Puerto Rico. This position combines technical expertise with customer relationship management, ensuring partners receive high-quality technical guidance, training, and ongoing support. New business development is not the primary focus of this role. Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, system performance, and long-term account stability. Key ResponsibilitiesKey Account Management (Primary Focus) Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned existing customers and installer partners in Puerto Rico Maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring consistent communication and support Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order fulfillment, delivery, and post-sales support Monitor customer feedback and proactively address technical or operational issues Technical Support & Sales Engineering Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for energy storage systems Assist customers with system design, configuration, and application guidance, particularly for battery and inverter-related solutions Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with product and engineering teams when needed Support quotation preparation by ensuring technical accuracy and system feasibility Training & Knowledge Enablement Conduct technical training sessions for installers, distributors, and partners (online or on-site when required) Educate customers on product features, installation best practices, and system operation Support the development and improvement of technical documentation, training materials, and user guides Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with product, engineering, service, and operations teams to resolve customer issues efficiently Provide structured feedback from the field to help improve products, documentation, and internal processes Qualifications & ExperienceEducation & Background Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems, batteries, inverters, or power electronics Professional Experience Experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or Key Account Manager role Hands-on experience supporting installers, EPCs, or commercial energy projects is highly preferred Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, solar, or electrical equipment industries is a strong plus Skills & Competencies Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences Comfortable leading technical trainings and customer workshops Highly organized, responsive, and customer-oriented Able to work independently in a remote environment Language & Location Fluent in English (Spanish is a strong plus and highly preferred) Based in Puerto Rico, with availability for occasional on-site customer visits 职位类型:全职 薪资: $45,000.00至$100,000.00(每年 ) 福利: • 401(k) • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: Remote
