Immediate need for a talented Technical / Functional Expert – Market Risk IT (PolyPaths Application Support) .This is 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in NYC(Onsite). Key Responsibilities: - • Stabilization of PolyPath platform for Market Risk users • Ensuring seamless integration with other risk platforms like Murex and ION. • Maintaining performance and reliability in a high-volume trading environment. • Ability to provide technical and functional expertise for PolyPaths. • Deliver daily BAU support and manage vendor patching/upgrades. • Drive integration and modernization of risk architecture. • Critical need to stabilize PolyPath and support Market Risk IT operations. • Integration roadmap involving multiple platforms (PolyPath, Murex, ION). • Short-term gaps in specialized skills internally. • Ensure stable, high-performance operations for Market Risk users. • Provide expert-level support and enhancements for PolyPaths. • Enable integration with broader risk and trading systems Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key Skills; Polypaths, Risk Management, Java/Python • requires strong technical skills (Java/Python, integrations, performance tuning) and functional understanding of Market Risk workflows and PolyPaths usage. • Strong hands-on experience with PolyPaths (front-end, batch process, OAS module, job configuration, reruns). • Expertise in Java and Python development within fixed-income technology stacks. • Experience with BAU Level-2 support, vendor coordination, patching, and upgrades. • Familiarity with risk management platforms and Market Risk IT workflows. • Knowledge of integration and performance tuning for trading/risk systems. • Certifications like AWS Architect, Cloud Foundry Developer, or similar are a plus.
