Immediate need for a talented Project Engineer – Transmission & Distribution (T&D). This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chesterfield, MO (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and lead projects from conceptual phase through engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout • Manage multiple concurrent overhead transmission and substation projects (34.5kV–500kV) • Work with technical teams to identify interdependencies and establish construction sequencing • Maintain detailed project financials and schedules with support from project controls teams • Implement standardized project management lifecycle processes • Serve as the primary point of contact with the client for coordination, planning, scope management, and budgeting • Oversee project activities including permitting, environmental, estimating, engineering, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, and construction management • Lead project teams to deliver scope safely, on schedule, and within budget Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Skills-ABET-accredited Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical). • Minimum 4+ years of engineering design experience (non-internship). • Direct Transmission & Distribution (T&D) project experience. • Project planning, scheduling, and scope management from project start to completion. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience in EPC, utility, oil & gas, or refinery environments. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university. • Minimum 4+ years of detailed engineering design experience (required). • 5+ years of relevant T&D experience preferred. • Staff-level project engineering experience. • Ability to work 100% onsite in Chesterfield, MO • Eligible for 9/80 work schedule Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
