Working on data preparation, modeling, and BI development for reporting and dashboards.
Proficiency in SQL, data cleansing, BI layer design, and experience with cloud data platforms like GCP or Snowflake.
Analytics Developer / Engineer 100% Remote Contract role Role Notes: • This role will be working across the Performance Layer, Consumption, and the BI Development. • Will need experience in massaging data, cleansing, building tables and views for reporting, SQL skills. • Either Power BI or Looker for BI development - have not implemented either. Ideal if this person can advise them as to the best tool to use. • Will not need to build out data ingestion processes - they will more-so need to work with business requirements to understand data availability needs and work them back into the data models, tables, etc. for reports and validation. Does the report accurately reflect the data or are there major gaps? • Also interested in bringing on Data Modelers - pure modelers who can build physical models in the Performance layer per domain and business requirements. Unsure about any particular tools that they are using for data modeling or refinement** • Need someone who can work on the solution but has experience to brainstorm and decide on solution that's best for program and the application. • Google Cloud Platform experience would be ideal, but other cloud experience is sufficient. • Medicaid or related domain experience nice to have. Must Have: • SQL: building and optimizing tables/views for reporting • Data cleansing & transformation: normalize and prepare data in the Performance layer so the Consumption layer remains reliable and consistent. • Semantic/BI layer design experience (defining metrics, conformed dimensions, and businessfriendly views) for dashboard/reporting builds • Power BI or Looker BI development odels, and validation checks). • Experience in cloud data platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred, AWS/Azure/Snowflake/Databricks acceptable).
