Those in application security at PwC will be responsible for providing security services to development teams including code scanning, readiness testing, and penetration testing to enable application teams to build and deploy secure applications in Production. You will utilise a risk-based methodology and "shift-left" approach to engage early in the software development lifecycle. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. The Opportunity As part of the Application Security team you are expected to analyze application security vulnerability and execute processes. As a Manager you are expected to supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. Additionally, you are expected to collaborate with teams to identify opportunities and provide recommendations on how application security can be built into project development and interact with project management team members and vendors on application projects. Responsibilities - Analyze application security vulnerability and execute processes - Supervise, develop, and coach teams to deliver top-quality work - Manage client service accounts and drive client engagement workstreams - Solve and analyze complex problems independently - Identify opportunities and provide recommendations on application security - Collaborate with teams to integrate security into project development - Interact with project management team members and vendors on application projects What You Must Have - High School Diploma - 4 years of information security, IT management, or PwC experience What Sets You Apart - Bachelor's Degree preferred - CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCIE, CCNA, CCNP and CCSA - Application security solutions and Web hosting architecture - Common networking protocols and services - Risk assessment/acceptance factors - Analyzing application security vulnerability - Using assessments of vulnerabilities and sources of threats - Collaborating with teams to identify opportunities - Implementing strategy for application threat vulnerability review This is a U.S. based role and PwC IT Services (US) LLC does not intend to hire external job seekers who will need, now or in the future, PwC IT Services (US) LLC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery. The salary range for this position is: $111,000 - $213,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Additionally, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position.
