The Opportunity As part of PwC's Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will help deliver reliable and cost-effective technology solutions that drive operational excellence. You will be instrumental in leading the end-to-end execution of technology initiatives, focusing on disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder communication, and consistent service delivery across engineering teams. In your role, you will manage software engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements. You will guide teams through complex technical challenges while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to define and prioritize product features. By overseeing the development of enterprise applications, you will enhance your technical acumen and contribute to the success of our Technology Consulting network. Responsibilities • Lead software engineering projects, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery. • Develop project plans and manage the complete project lifecycle. • Guide teams in addressing complex technical challenges. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product features and identify technology improvements. • Oversee the development and integration of applications using platforms like Appian, Mendix, and OutSystems. • Work with engineers using languages such as Java, Python, SQL, .NET, and C# to create scalable solutions. • Promote best practices like Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). • Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot technical challenges to enhance performance. • Coach junior staff to develop their skills and promote innovative methodologies. • Support engagement team management by addressing feedback and improving development practices. • Leverage knowledge in AI and emerging technologies. What You Must Have • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (12 years in a relevant field). What Sets You Apart • Proficiency in ATDD, CI/CD, and API management. • Experience in managing complex software projects effectively. • Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2). • Strong skills in business process improvement. • Able to analyze data for informed decision-making. • Effective budget management for program delivery. • Experience using project management tools like Microsoft Project and JIRA. The salary range for this position is: $114,000 - $132,000. Actual compensation within this range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws.
