This is a remote role. Our production facility is located in Reno, Nevada, and candidates within driving distance of Reno, NV or Northern California are preferred for occasional in-person collaboration and production alignment. While not required, proximity to our operations is a strong advantage. Purpose-Built is the leading industrial outfitter with a rapidly growing following, known as the Home of the Trades. The PRO Division is expanding — scaling our commercial workwear programs, custom merchandise services, industrial footwear servicing, and managed voucher solutions across the United States. This is your opportunity to architect and lead the operational backbone of a fast-growing B2B division. Who are we looking for: We’re looking for a senior-level operational leader to own and scale production, procurement, and commercial servicing within the PRO Division. This is not a production supervisor role. The PRO Production and Operations Manager serves as the operational leader of Purpose-Built PRO’s commercial production and industrial servicing division. This individual builds scalable systems, protects gross margin, enforces service standards, and ensures seamless execution from estimate to fulfillment. You will partner directly with leadership and sales to ensure aggressive growth does not create operational chaos. This is what a successful team member does… Estimation & Commercial Job Costing Ownership • Builds and approves commercial job estimates before submission • Builds standardized pricing matrices for decoration types and volume tiers • Ensures proper costing of blanks, decoration method, freight, rush charges and associated fees • Establishes and enforces minimum margin guardrails • Partners with sales to structure profitable proposals • Audits completed jobs to measure estimate accuracy vs actual margin You protect margin before production begins. Procurement & Supply Chain Management • Negotiates improved pricing with blank apparel and footwear vendors • Manages purchasing of apparel blanks, PPE, hard goods and other customer requested items • Develops and maintains preferred vendor list • Forecasts purchasing needs based on sales pipeline • Improves bulk buying leverage for large commercial accounts • Reduces rush freight through disciplined planning • Establishes reorder forecasting for recurring accounts You ensure we buy strategically — not reactively. Production Leadership & Execution • Screen printing and embroidery channel • Maintains on-time delivery standards • Builds and enforces service level agreements (SLAs) • Monitors production capacity and turn time relative to sales pipeline • Implements tracking systems to eliminate blind spots • Oversees quality control processes for custom orders You own throughput, quality standards and operational clarity. Service Standards & Operational Systems • Creates standardized onboarding for new PRO accounts • Builds documented SOPs for production and footwear servicing • Develops CRM-integrated workflow visibility • Creates escalation processes for high-priority or rush jobs • Tracks production KPIs and backlog You build systems that scale. Industrial Footwear Partner Servicing • Supports customers with footwear voucher programs • Coordinates sizing events and mobile activations with PRO Team • Ensures compliance and reporting for commercial accounts • Facilitates account creation and activation materials for footwear voucher accounts You support footwear programs as a core traffic and revenue driver for Purpose-Built. Sales Alignment & Account Activation • Works directly with PRO sales team to streamline customer onboarding • Reduces friction between signed account and first order • Develops rollout playbooks for custom merch programs, uniform launches, and apprentice program partnerships • Builds dashboards tracking estimate-to-fulfillment performance You accelerate revenue while maintaining operational discipline. Team Leadership & Accountability • Serves as the operational bridge between Sales and Production - owning estimate integrity, and execution standards • Establishes performance standards • Owns alignment between Sales and Production • Builds bench strength for future expansion • Fosters culture of ownership and margin awareness You build people and processes simultaneously. Your background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?
