Manage and grow sales territory through dealer channels, develop new dealers, execute business plans, and provide sales forecasts and reporting.
Requires strong sales and dealer management experience, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, technical sales background, and proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office.
Objective of the position: Responsible for complete territory sales management including Eberspaecher/Kalori Master Service Dealers, Truck OE Dealers and fleet customers. Segments including off-road, heavy-duty truck, work truck/vocational/small bus specialty, marine, RV and any other opportunities that may arise (except those already managed by dedicated segment manager). This position can be located in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City or Seattle. It has responsibility for CA, OR, WA, ID, AZ, UT and AK. Essential Accountabilities: * Create and execute Annual Regional Business Plan. * Promote the sale of the entire Eberspaecher/Kalori product line within the assigned territory. * Grow the sales revenue through the distribution channels including but not limited to Master Service Dealers (MSDs), truck OE dealers, Thermo King Dealers and all other accounts as assigned. * Develop new MSDs where required. * Identify sales opportunities in the assigned territory and direct the sale through the appropriate distribution channel. Assigned territory includes: UT, AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA (subject to change). * Help identify and sign sub-dealers in conjunction with the MSD. * Arrange for sales and parts training for new and existing dealers and customers. * Identify and attend relevant trade shows and customer events. Attend corporate meetings as assigned. * Provide weekly itinerary for the Director of Sales identifying weekly sales activities. Managing key activities within the CRM platform including (but not limited to) customer visit reports, leads, opportunities, deals won, deals lost and all other activities related to managing the assigned territory. * Help develop annual sales forecasts with MSDs in the assigned territory - monitor sales activity against the sales forecast and work with the dealer to meet or exceed the forecast. * Provide quarterly reviews to Business Plans * Manage expenses for travel and promotional activity within the assigned territory. * Extensive territory travel required to maintain and develop the business. Up to 75%. * Follow all H&S standards and rules, wearing the required PPE as necessary at customer sites and head office or other sites as required. * Uphold Eberspaecher's Environmental Policies to limit the impact of its operations on the environment and prevent pollution through technological innovation and process efficiency by participating fully Eberspaecher's environmental / recycling program. * Other related tasks and responsibilities as required. Requirement Profile: Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience: * Self-starter * Excellent interpersonal, negotiation skills with a professional demeanor. * Solid sales and technical background * Strong analytical acumen and used to working with structured reporting systems. * Outstanding dealer management and new dealer development ability * Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization. * Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. * Collaborative work style with strong relationship building skills * Possess a high proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office and CRM products
