Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers, Certified Home Health Aides (HHA), or Personal Care Assistants to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care for clients of all ages. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or those requiring hospice or memory care. Flexible schedules are available. Duties • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support • Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs • Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe environment • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of care provided • Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times • Document medical records accurately and timely in accordance with healthcare standards • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being • Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities when necessary Skills • Proven experience in home health, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings • Knowledge of medical terminology and caregiving best practices for seniors and individuals with disabilities • Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols • Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes • NJ CHHA license certification preferred • Ability to assist with ADLs using proper techniques and safety measures • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life This position is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing respectful, personalized care that enhances the independence and dignity of those they serve.
