Full Description

Overview Pulse Point is seeking a consultative, goal-oriented Account Executive to lead sales efforts for our CRM, AMS, and related SaaS products designed for the insurance distribution industry. This role focuses on engaging prospective clients, understanding operational and sales challenges, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and helping refine a scalable, repeatable sales process. The ideal candidate understands insurance distribution workflows and can translate client needs into clear product value propositions. Key Responsibilities • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that highlight the value of Pulse Point’s solutions. • Identify prospective client pain points and requirements, and map those needs to platform capabilities. • Maintain accurate and timely CRM notes to support a structured sales pipeline and coordinated onboarding scheduling. • Apply an informed perspective of insurance distribution operations (IMOs, BGAs, agencies, carriers), including typical sales, marketing, and operational processes. • Partner closely with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth post-sale transition for new clients. • Communicate client goals, expectations, and customization requests to support seamless onboarding. • Contribute to internal process improvements, including sales operations, templates, and follow-up structures that support scale. Requirements • Experience: 4+ years in SaaS sales, preferably involving CRM, AMS, or insurance-technology platforms. • Industry Knowledge: Working understanding of insurance distribution operations, particularly in life and annuity lines. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. • Sales Acumen: Proven track record managing a pipeline, conducting demos, and closing consultative sales. • Organization: Strong ability to manage follow-ups, track multiple opportunities, and maintain accurate documentation. Preferred Qualifications (All preferred qualifications are optional and not required for consideration, in alignment with U.S. employment nondiscrimination rules.) • Experience working in a small company or startup environment. • Background in insurance distribution from the BGA, IMO, or carrier perspective. • Existing professional network within the distribution or carrier ecosystem. • Familiarity with sales operations, process design, or pipeline management. • Demonstrated initiative and desire to validate and grow skill sets. • Comfort with learning new software quickly; prior CRM experience preferred (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). • Experience working with or managing sales associates to improve efficiency and increase sales volume. • Ability to work in a hybrid or in-office setting at our Atlanta, GA location (preferred, not required). Compensation & Benefits (All compensation ranges are estimates and may vary based on experience, geographic location, and other lawful factors.) • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure.
