Duties and Responsibilities Serves as the primary client facing resource for day-to-day activities Defines program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Effectively communicates program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaises with program stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Sets and continually manages program expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Plans and schedules program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks Monitors the program activities on a regular basis and conduct an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework Tracks program milestones and deliverables. Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the program team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas. Defines program success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout program life cycle. Conducts program post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful program elements. Develops best practices and tools for program execution and management. Ensures processes generate data and metrics regarding the vitality of the program. Identifies strategic issues and roadblocks preventing delivery of program. Aligns strategic priorities in the program to ensure these are aligned with strategic business priorities. Required Skills Strong familiarity with program management disciplines and tools, especially as they relate to IT development/deployment for Enterprise software. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for deploying systems in state government departments. Demonstrated ability to forge strong business relationships and create “buy in”. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. Excellent communication skills, excellent writing skills, as well as problem solving and brainstorming skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Qualifications Bachelor in Science or equivalent undergraduate degree in management, technology or other related fields, Master’s Degree is a plus 10+ years of technical program management in a consulting/deployment environment, experience in implementing enterprise systems is required, experience managing large System integrators as well as Commercial Off the Shelf solutions is a plus Certification in project management required Working Conditions Remote Work This position is remotewith travel/onsite requirements. Compensation: Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
