Job Classification: Sales - Sales The VP, Wealth Consulting (WC) is accountable for achieving Assets Under Management (AUM) growth, increased GDR and increased number of financial professionals active on the Investment platform within their territory. The role also drives growth in Financial Planning and supports our Recruiting efforts. The WC Works closely with financial professionals and field leadership. The Wealth Consultants are accountable for boosting advisor productivity in the field and increasing adoption of recurring revenue products and deepening the focus on advisory and financial planning Through strong business relationships with Territory Leadership, they coach at the local level to strengthen and enhance the financial professionals’ skills and elevate the investment and financial planning knowledge of field leadership. The Wealth Consultant will also deliver product information, competitive data, and provide strategic guidance to financial professionals and field leadership in 1:1 or group settings. The Wealth Consultants will serve as a strategic advocate for field advisors by influencing our broker dealer, platform evolution, and service improvements based on real time advisor needs. The Wealth Consultant is part of a team reporting to the Vice President, Wealth and Financial Planning. The Wealth Consultant will collaborate with the Advisor Services product management team and with Learning and Business Consulting to drive results, increase technology adoption and share uncovered training needs. All materials, concepts and ideas that Wealth Consultants deliver must be compliance approved. Significant travel is anticipated. Qualifications: Demonstrates executive presence, builds a strong personal brand, and establishes credibility as a field leader. Able to lead through influence even without formal authority. Extensive understanding of sales metrics, territory dynamics, and what levers to pull to elevate firm performance. Focused on driving growth through data-informed decisions and strategic pressure points. Deep experience in financial services, spanning products, operations, advisory, and negotiations. Combines historical knowledge with practical know-how to navigate complexity and build field credibility. Understanding of the sales process and ongoing activity pertaining to maintain and growing AUM Anticipates advisor needs and designs creative, high-impact programs that resonate. Knows how to package and promote initiatives to drive advisor engagement and participation. High motivation and energy with the ability to drive production, AUM and revenue objectives relatively autonomously Familiarity with tools such as e-Money, Nitrogen, Morningstar Analytics etc. Solid understanding of compliance Series 7 & 65 or 66 within 90 days and prior investment or wholesaler experience a plus. Industry recognized designations such as ChFC, CFP are highly desirable This is a variable sales compensation role. Compensation is based on market competitive variable compensation which includes a base salary and opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses.
