Who You Are Prowess Consulting is looking for a Privacy Project Manager with software privacy and privacy review experience to join our growing team. To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. This is a full-time role that can be worked remotely, however, collaboration with teammates centered in the Pacific time zone will be essential. No third-party agencies, please. The Role Provide support for privacy consultations, including effectively communicating privacy-related information, guiding stakeholders on compliance requirements, and directing them to appropriate resources for further assistance. Conduct privacy reviews, ensuring that organizational practices align with privacy standards and requirements. Support completion of new and updated Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), triage of privacy incidents, and execution of Data Subject Requests (DSRs). Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into various business processes, systems, and initiatives, fostering a culture of privacy awareness and accountability within the organization. Qualifications 2-3 plus years’ experience as a Privacy Manager is required Certified in Privacy certifications: CIPM/CIPP/CIPT highly desirable Knowledge of global privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards Additional Details The offered base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s work experience. Full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours or more per week) within the US have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, and other benefits.
