Proven Software is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you'll help drive data-informed decisions by supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting efforts. Location: Remote, with preference for candidates in the DC Metro region or Mid-Atlantic area Key Responsibilities • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports • Support the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasts • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into business performance • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in variance analysis • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to support strategic initiatives • Prepare data and materials for internal reviews, leadership meetings, and investor updates • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field • Strong analytical and quantitative skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) • Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn • Experience with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Tableau) is a plus but not required Why Join Proven Software • Join a high-growth, forward-thinking software company • Gain hands-on experience with real financial strategy and analysis • Work directly with experienced executive leadership, including a successful repeat entrepreneur • Competitive compensation and benefits package • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement • Flexible work environment with hybrid or remote options How To Apply Please submit your resume and a short cover letter outlining your interest in the role and why you'd be a great fit for Proven Software, Inc.
