Director of HR Technology - Contract Opportunity (6 Months) Houston, TX 77024 | $90/hr | Partnering with Protouch Staffing Protouch Staffing is seeking a highly strategic and forward-thinking Director of HR Technology to support our premier healthcare client in Houston, TX. This leader will drive optimization across multiple HR technology platforms and play a critical role in the organization's upcoming ERP migration project. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative HR Technology leader who thrives on process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and building high-performing teams. Position Overview Reporting directly to the VP, ISD Business Solutions, the Director of HR Technology will oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of HR systems and technology. The ideal candidate brings deep HR systems expertise, strong technical acumen, and a proven ability to lead teams through complex, high-visibility initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development, execution, and communication of IT and HR technology strategies aligned with enterprise goals. • Optimize HR technology systems, processes, workflows, and reporting. • Stay ahead of HR technology trends to drive innovation and advancement. • Serve as a solution segment owner for HR/Workforce technologies in partnership with IT leaders. • Direct day-to-day HR technology operations, ensuring system performance, user support, and issue resolution. • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, and resource planning. • Oversee training program development for system users and HRIS staff. • Drive process improvement, automation, and digitization of HR workflows. • Support ERP migration readiness and execution. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Technology/HRIS professionals. • Establish KPIs, quality benchmarks, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Promote professional development, collaboration, and excellence across the department. Required Experience & Qualifications • 10+ years in Information Technology, with 5+ years focused on HR/Workforce Technology. • 5+ years leading and managing diverse, high-performing teams. • Proven record of delivering complex projects and driving organizational change. • Strong relationship-building skills across HR, Operations, and IT leadership. • Expertise in process improvement, project management, and capacity planning. • Exceptional communication, presentation, and consultative skills. • Experience with cloud-based HCM systems (required). • Knowledge of related HR/IT systems: LMS, ATS, Time & Attendance, ticketing/workflow systems (preferred). • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Self-directed and committed to delivering exceptional customer service • Seasonal Flu Vaccine • Current or willing to get TB Skin Test.
