What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power our platform. - You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and data scientists to deliver seamless user experiences. - You will optimize system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of backend infrastructure. - You will participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software development. - You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system integrity. - You will contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical roadmap. - You will write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - You will stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations into our systems. What You Bring: - 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. - Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. - Deep understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the wholesale distribution or supply chain industry. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in tech communities.
