Provide transactional support to callers, answer policy questions, update information, escalate complex issues, and participate in team initiatives.
At least 2 years customer service experience, 1 year financial services or insurance experience, call center experience preferred, high school diploma, PC proficiency, and flexible schedule.
Description: • Provide basic transactional support to callers including answering policy questions and updating personal information • Engage with customers over the phone, gather and verify sensitive information, and process requests efficiently • Transfer callers to SME/specialist representatives for complex matters • Complete necessary compliance testing and stay up-to-date with industry regulations • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and participate in team initiatives • Identify systemic issues, escalate appropriately, work within specialized skill groups, and manage email queues • Exercise sound judgment in an environment involving sensitive customer information Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience required • 1 year of experience in the financial services or insurance field • 1 year of inbound call center experience highly preferred • High school diploma or equivalent required • Windows PC experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Proficiency with multiple computer systems and ability to learn new programs quickly • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong customer focus and attention to detail • Effective decision-making and time management skills • Ability to multitask using verbal and technical skills while on the phone • Flexibility to work any shift within the contact center (Central timezone) • Quiet, dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection • Availability Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm CDT Benefits: • Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance • Mental health benefits and an employee assistance program • Paid time off • Paid parental leave • Short-term disability • Cultural observance day • Contributions to healthcare accounts • Pension plan • 401(k) plan with Company matching • ProHealth Rewards platform to improve wellbeing while earning cash rewards • Accommodations for applicants with a disability (email martina.winston@protective.com) • Eligibility for certain benefits may vary by position
