Role Description • ** MUST BE LOCAL TO SAN RAMON, CA OR SURROUNDING AREA FOR ONBOARDING PURPOSES*** This is a part-time remote role for a Background Screening Analyst. A Background Screening Analyst's job is to conduct thorough investigations into an individual's personal, professional, and criminal history. This includes verifying information, conducting searches of public records and databases, and providing detailed analysis to help hiring managers make informed decisions. We are looking for someone to work with our upper management team. The position would be part-time doing our day to day tasks. These would include the following: Analyze records that result from background investigations. Working with Fortune 500 Companies background screening solutions daily Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. Interpret court dockets to extract relevant information crucial for background checks. Analyze disposition codes and charges obtained from criminal record searches, identifying key details such as arrests, convictions, dismissals, or pending charges. Review and manage background reports on a daily basis to ensure that the reports meet company requirements and compliance with policy escalating to recruiter and/or HR when additional information is needed. Resolve compliance issues with Clients and HR as quickly as possible to obtain additional information and resolve. Apply knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards. Engage with clients and candidates to ensure swift, accurate, and user-friendly completion of background checks and compliance verifications, maintaining a seamless experience throughout. Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries from Clients and Candidates and address concerns or discrepancies. THIS IS A 1099 POSITION, WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO WORK PART-TIME REMOTELY WITH FLEXIBILITY - WE WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE BACKGROUND SCREENING PROCESS THROUGH OUR ONBOARDING PLATFORM.
